Anthony Hernandez, 22

Anthony Hernandez, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Friday, Oct. 19, near West 97th Street and South Main Street in Broadway-Manchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

At 10:30 p.m., police responded to a call of a shot heard in the area and found Hernandez unconscious on the street corner, said Los Angeles police Det. Nathan Kouri.

Hernandez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:57 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

It’s unclear what Hernandez was doing in the moments leading up to the shooting. Police are looking for additional witnesses.
