Worked on business process applications for Henkel Loctite corporation,
including RS232 communications and database access in .NET
Created C++ and Java client-server GUI applications for business,
utilizing the GTK and AWT graphical frameworks |
- Web Developer / Consultant Zippo Manufacturing 2000-Present
- Designed database in SQL Server and website in ASP/VBScript
for Zippo Manufacturing’s launch of their first collector’s
club – http://zippoclick.com,
includes a complete web community – modules such as registration,
message boards, internal messaging, classifieds, etc. Also created
administration interface for club administrator to add, edit,
and delete all objects from any part of the site
- Helped design and develop database and web application for
second version of http://www.zippoclick.com,
using ASP.NET and SQL Server, utilizing an N-Tier design, carrying
over all features from first release plus more. This included
developing a VB.NET based chat server from scratch.
- Helped design and develop database and web application for http://www.zippotricks.com,
using JSP and SQL Server. Zippotricks.com currently sustains
in excess of 1 million hits per month.
- Helped create the new version of http://www.zippo.com/ ,
utilizing Flash 7 data access components, in one of the first
widely used data-driven flash sites on the Internet.
- Helped create http://inside.zippo.com/ ,
an intranet site that includes Flash data driven components,
a content management system, and online work flow processes for
many departments such as HR, Manufacturing, and Marketing.
- Designed an EAI solution for integrating Zippo’s ERP
with EDI, allowing sales associates to submit orders as email
attachments (Excel spreadsheets) which where converted to EDI.
- Currently designing and implementing a BizTalk-SharePoint integrated
solution for workflow optimization and management
- Currently developing EAI solutions in BizTalk 2004/2006.

involving migrating web content and creating/configuring new
interactive elements.

- Helped initiative and fuel Internet marketing efforts for the
